Come Speak at Rutgers University

The Humanist Chaplaincy is always looking for engaging and enlightening speakers to give a presentation at our monthly events.

In addition to playing a supporting role in Student events, every month the Chaplaincy holds its own activities which are open to the public.

Recent topics have included issues in the importance of community involvement, the Humanist movement in America today, the existence of the soul, issues in ethics and morality, and religious demographics in the US.

If you can’t make it to Rutgers physically, we would also love to have you write a post about Humanist issues, upcoming events or the work of your Humanist or atheist organization!

Want Our Chaplain to Come to You?

If you would like our Chaplain Barry Klassel to come speak I’ll vouch for him and say he would be more than happy to!

Barry often speaks at Sunday Ethical Society platforms, lectures at Humanist and other community organizations and participates in Inter-Religious panel discussions.

The Chaplaincy is always eager to participate in or co-host appropriate Inter-Religious events.
