Motivations for giving to the Humanist Chaplaincy are highly personal and varied. You may be a Rutgers alumnus/a who has recently discovered Humanism and never knew there was a community attached to your beliefs. You may be a supporter of religious pluralism, eager to see the Humanist and non-traditionally religious perspective gain a voice in the dialogue among world religions. Or you may simply be delighted to know that Humanist, agnostic, atheist, and non-religious students have a “home away from home” on the campus. We can make a difference by responding to the widespread potential interest in our message– nearly one in four young Americans now defines her or himself as non-religious– but we will need your support.
Our sponsors are non-profit organizations with 501(c3) status, so donations to the Humanist Chaplaincy at Rutgers University (HCRU) are tax-deductable.
