TARGUM POST: HUMANIST EXAMINES U.S. POLITICS AT RUTGERS

If you didn’t make it to the David Niose talk you missed out.  But you don’t need to miss out on a good summary of the discussion.

The Rutgers Targum, the University’s oldest newspaper, published a piece about the event on September 19th.

Check out the article in the link above.

In the talk David Niose discussed some of the contents of his book “Nonbeliever Nation.”

The thrust of the discussion was about the resurgence of the Religious Right, the damage it was doing, and the need for a novel response from Humanism.

If you’re interested in other Humanist events in the coming months, subscribe to get our blog and newsletter or just check out some of the atheist and Humanist student groups on campus.
